Your Questions About Courses For Animal Care
Sandy asks…Koi carp care? easy points for most informative answer!?I am finding it hard to find information on the care of koi carp. I am starting an animal care course and would like them when i am older so i would like to know about them. I want ghost koi, are they any different in body to other koi or are they just a different colour variation?
So far i have heard (i do not know if it this correct) that they need 1,000 gallons per koi/outdoor goldfish. And a pond of deeper than 3ft for winter months but they are fine out doors at winter. Their eating also is abit off in winter months

Your Questions About Online Animal Care Courses
Mandy asks…Questions for those who own/have owned sugar gliders?I'm planning on getting two sugar gliders (if I get a male and female I know I need to get the male neutered) as pets/companions. I'm going to college this fall for a career in Veterinary Technology so I don't plan on getting them until sometime after I graduate (I'm going to be taking a course in exotics as well). I have done research on them, looked up local rescues and breeders, and also vet practices that deal with exotic pets near my area.
I would like some information from those who have owned/currently own a sugar

Your Questions About Animal Care Training Courses
Carol asks…lapse in house training whilst pregnant?my cousin is doing some kind of course to do with animal care and she is following a breeder through a bi*ches pregnancy at the moment. The breeder has been talking her through all aspects of the pregnancy as it happens and has recently mentioned that the bi*ch has lapsed in her house training through the night. (i think she has 2 weeks to go?) The breeder says this is quite common when large litters or large puppies are expected due to the puppies pressing on her bladder and bowel. I know the bi*ch can temporarily lapse in house training

Sharon asks…Who is responsible for staff training and career development within a veterinary surgery?Hi, I'm studying an animal care course at college and in one of my assignments it asks a question "Who is responsible for staff training and career development?" Would anyone happen to know?bobg answers:It depends on each individual practice.
If it's a small practice, often times it's the owner (usually a veterinarian). Even in larger practices, the owner is probably going to be the one in charge of the other vets at the very least.
In larger practices there is usually someone called a
